Getting Lilly Home – Missing for 1 year 6 months

We received a few reports that a cat had been involved in an RTA in Rochester, unfortunately the cat had passed away. A lovely lady collected the cat and took her to work with her as she was due to start work. One of our volunteers Abigail Newman attended the ladies work and checked for a chip.

We rang the chip and tried to get a hold of the owner but the phone line went straight to answerphone. Abigail brought the cat named Lily back to HQ. In the meantime we did a search on our facebook group for this cat incase she was missing, we quite quickly found her. She had been missing since January 2018. We eventually managed to get in touch with the owner who was devastated by the news but very happy that she has closure and can stop her search for Lily. Lily will be collected by her owner today so she can be laid to rest.

So very sorry that she passed away but glad the owners now have closure after such a long time missing her and worrying. RIP baby girl xx
