Getting Zeus Home

We received a message from a lady who went on to explain that there was a cat running in the middle of the road in Mill Road in Gillingham. She tried to keep the cat in safe for a while and let him back out again, he ran straight into the middle of the road again. She also noticed he was clean, well fed and had a collar on that said ‘I am microchipped’. The men at the car wash on that road placed him into a room so we could attend and check for a chip.

One of the men had fallen for the cat and really didn’t want us taking him away, we explained that he was chipped and we were very sure that he was loved and missed.

We checked him for a chip, he was chipped and his name is Zeus, a semi longhaired tabby and white stunning boy. We rang both numbers on the chip but there was no answer. So we placed Zeus into a cat basket and proceeded to go door knocking.

When we knocked a very young boy answered the door, we asked him if he owned a cat called Zeus, he said “have you found my cat????”. We explained to him that he needed to close all windows and doors and we would bring Zeus inside, he rushed about with a big smile on his face telling us that Zeus had been missing for a few days.

Zeus was Reunited with his non furry sibling and we have spoken to the parents over the phone to explain what Zeus had been up to.

Stay safe gorgeous boy xxxx
