Getting Noah Home

We received a tag on a Facebook group last night about a black cat that was seen deceased in Rochester.

The lovely people that stopped tried to knock on doors, unfortunately they came across a man who threw the cat into a bush. The people that stopped to help were extremely angry about what they had witnessed so placed a post on Facebook.

We attended as soon as we could to locate the cat and check for a chip. He was chipped and his name was Noah. Because it was nearing midnight we decided not to wake up the owners with the news and rang them this morning instead.

Noah was once called Floyd who was adopted by Anim-Mates Rescue 8 years ago, he wasn’t keen on his new home and chose a new one for himself where this lady had got him signed over and changed the details on his microchip to suit.

He was a very much loved cat and will be sorely missed by his mummy.

Rest in paws heaven little darling boy.

Thank you to everyone who helped with this little love. If you do come across a deceased cat please don’t dispose of them, place them somewhere safe and get in touch with us or take to your nearest vet. You could save someone years of heartbreak by doing so. X
