Cat Mutilation Lordswood *Warning Distressing Content*

We received a call from a lady explaining she cares for some elderly people who had spotted a deceased cat in their back garden along Lordswood Lane in Lordswood. Both of them rarely venture in the garden as they have limited movement and they spotted the cat outside from the kitchen window.

We attended and it became quickly apparent that something wasn’t right. The cat had parts missing and it looks as if someone has used a sharp instrument to remove the body parts on the cat.

We can confirm that this has been done by a human, this has been independently verified. The parts of the cat that were taken have not been found and there is no blood at the scene, however there are one set of footprints that have been found, photographed and documented.

The cat was chipped and the owner has been contacted.

Authorities have been informed.

Our thoughts are with the owner at this sad time. Rest in paws heaven little darling xxxxx
