Getting Benji Home

A post went up on our facebook page about a dog that was found in Chatham. Not long before the post was placed up there was a report of a dog that had gone missing matching the description.

One of our volunteers Tracy Rayner offered to check for a chip. As Tracy attended and checked everyone held their breaths in the hope that the dog was the missing Benji…..

It was Benji and he was taken home to be reunited with his family. Benji was treated like a little Prince from the finder and her friend who had wrapped him up with a blanket and taken him on the bus to safety.

One happy dog and one happy owner. Stay safe little love.

With thanks to the finder Mary, her friend Lesley and Tracy for attending to check for a chip.

Not for profit animal welfare organisation.
