Getting Elsa Home

We were tagged on a post on a Facebook group earlier this evening about a cat that was involved in an RTA.

A couple came across the deceased cat in Sittingbourne and removed the cat from the road and placed the cat somewhere safe then posted on Facebook for help. They were very distressed.

We attended as soon as we could and initially couldn’t find the cat, the finders drove back to find us and took us to where the cat was.

We checked the cat for a chip and she was chipped, her name was Elsa, a beautiful semi longhaired grey and white girl. We called and sent a text message to the phone number on the chip and after some time received a call back from a very distraught owner.

The owner collected Elsa from HQ and took her home to be laid to rest.

Rest in paws heaven little darling girl xxxxx

Natasha from animalslostandfoundinkent contacted me initially regarding a rta involving a cat named Elsa. I own that cat and am devastated and finding it hard to come to terms with the loss of a family member. Words cannot express my thanks for the couple of stopped to pick up Elsa from the middle of the road after being run over by a car which did not stop apparently, she could have been run over again and again, does care anymore, this was mid-afternoon I believe, weather conditions good, daylight, did the car have no brakes or was it speeding, I will never know. Christmas 2018 is over for me and my loved ones.
Elsa was unique, a one-off, she will live in my heart forever.
