Getting Pablito Home

We were alerted by a few members of the public to a deceased cat along the M2 going down the slip road towards Strood. The highways agency had been called numerous times but the cat was still there hours later.

We decided to attend to see if we could retrieve the cat as safely as possible.

We managed to locate the cat and collected him as safely as we could. We also saw his collar and managed to retrieve this also.

We then drove to a safer place and checked for a chip. He was chipped and his name was Pablito, he wasn’t missing and only lived behind the slip road. We called the phone number on the microchip and a lovely lady answered. We explained what had happened and that we could bring Pablito back home so she would be able to lay him to rest.

We would like to thank all members of the public for reporting and helping with directions.

Rest in paws heaven beautiful boy, our thoughts are with your owners at this sad time xxxx
