Getting Andromeda and Drax The Destroyer Home

We were tagged on a Facebook group about two dogs that had been found whilst a woman went to pick up her Chinese food this evening. We supplied the dog wardens phone number for them to call then quickly realised that the warden wasn’t in operation. So we explained that we could attend and check for a chip. The lovely family had to separate their own dogs to keep these dogs safe.

The family then gave both dogs some water and somewhere soft to lay down. When we attended we checked the first dogs chip, this dogs chip wasn’t registered so we checked the other dog for a chip….. Wooohooooo a registered microchip!

We rang the owner who sounded very stressed when she answered the phone, she explained that she had just finished blocking every part of her garden that she could and both dogs have still managed to escape together and that she had recently just rehomed the other dog with the unregistered microchip and is in the process of getting the chip updated.

These beautiful dogs had wound each other up, egged each other on and managed to get 2 miles away from home.

Both dogs thankfully were unharmed and back home safe with their owner.

Thank you to the lovely family and their neighbour for alerting us and allowing us to attend and help.

Stay safe naughty pooches xxxx
