We received a phone call from a lovely family that explained a cat was hit by a van outside their house last night along James Street in Gillingham, right beside the primary school on that road. They rang the rspca who gave them our phone number to see if we could help. We explained we could attend ASAP and check the cat for a chip.
The family were devastated as they heard a noise outside and saw the cat in the road. They swiftly got a towel and wrapped the cat up, unfortunately the cat didn’t make it.
We checked the cat for a chip but there was no chip found. The cat is a ginger tabby male and not neutered, he had yellow eyes and 5 white rings of fur on his tail. He had feral type fur as if he has been living outside for some time. He looked approximately 4 years old.
We have him safe with us and will continue to search for his owner.
Rest in paws heaven beautiful boy xxxx
