Getting Mimi Home

A post went up on our facebook group about a deceased cat that was found in Rochester, the man that found the cat moved the cat away from the road to safety and asked for help. One of our volunteers Abigail attended and collected the cat and brought the cat to HQ to be checked for a chip. The cat was chipped, her name was Mimi. The mobile number wasn’t active and the landlines was ringing out. We assumed that the owners were at work so we decided to go door knocking thus evening.

We knocked on the door and a man answered, we explained who we were and why we were there. He was so grateful for our help and was devastated by the news of her passing.

Mimi is now back home with massive thanks to Keith for reporting and moving her to safety and our Abigail for collecting Mimi and bringing her to HQ.
