Getting Felix Home

A post went up on Facebook about a young cat that was hanging around a property in Sittingbourne a few days ago. Our Sittingbourne volunteer (Danielle Hoynes) attended. Danielle checked the cat for a chip and reported back that he was very young and not chipped. Danielle decided that it was too dangerous for the cat to be left outside, so she picked him up and placed a post on our group in the hope that someone would come forward or recognise him.

After two days of no contact or leads Danielle brought the little man to headquarters to do his remaining 26 days. We continued to search for an owner.

Last night we received a phone call from a very worried man saying that he thought we may have his kitten as his sister saw a photo online and went over to show him. We asked about what sex the cat was, if he was chipped and what specific markings his cat had. The cat we had was a match for his missing Felix.

We explained we could bring Felix home straight away to be reunited with his family.

As soon as Felix saw his dog sisters he started purring and then cuddled up with his grateful daddy.

We have been assured that Felix will be neutered and chipped next week.

Be safe gorgeous boy xxxx
