We were sent an inbox about a sign outside someone’s door in Chatham saying kittens available.
The person that sent this went on to explain that this has happened numerous times at this address by the same mum cat. So we decided to give the address a knock and ask if we could see mum and kittens and offer some help with getting the kittens safe and mum spayed. The man agreed and explained he couldn’t afford to get mum spayed, so we explained we could take her to the vets, get her spayed and bring her back so that this cycle could stop. The lovely man was very stressed out by the kittens but he did everything he could with the little money he did have to help feed the babies on the correct food.
All four babies are safe with us and will be taken to Cats Protection Bredhurst on Friday and mum will be spayed within the next couple of days so this cycle stops.
