Getting Indie Home

We were tagged on a Facebook group about a cat that had been involved in an rta last night around 11:30pm in Hoo. We attended as soon as we could. We managed to find the cat and checked for a chip. She was chipped and her name was Indie, a beautiful Tabby and white girl. We went onto the database and found out that she was registered to an address in Gravesend and that the phone nunber on the chip was no longer in use. So with a bit of detective work and a massive thanks to Facebook we managed to track down her owner. By this point it was midnight and there was no reply from the owner, her mum, her partner or a mutual friend on Facebook so we brought Indie back to headquarters to be kept safe until we had heard word back.

Early this morning we had a couple of messages from the owners sister and her husband explaining that Indie has living with them and has been for the past 2 years. The owner also called to ask if we could take Indie to her sisters house. We left immediately to take her back home. When we arrived we could clearly see just how much Indie was loved by everyone in the family and that she will be very much missed by everyone.
