Getting Lilly Home

A post went up on our group about a dog that was found in the middle of the road in Sittingbourne by a lovely man who had picked her up and tried calling wardens with no luck on getting through,  so he took her home to Northfleet to keep her safe.  We gave our number to the original poster of the dog and asked to forward it on to the man for us to attend and check for a chip.

We arranged with the man to come over straight away.  When we arrived we were greeted with a very happy girl who smothered us in kisses,  bum wags and smiles.

We checked her for a chip and she was chipped!  Her name was Lilly,  a 2 year old tan Staff.  We called the database to trace her owners.  Thankfully the owner had kept all of their details up to date and we were able to get in touch with then straight away.  After the owner explaining what had happened and how they hadn’t stopped looking for her all night we managed to organise taking her back home to Sittingbourne.

She wasn’t too happy about being in the back of the car but her bum did not stop wagging when she got home.

Such a sweet girl she is,  so happy and full of love.  Stay safe sweetheart xxxxx
