Getting Mimi Home

We received a phone call from a lady that works in a care home in Gillingham on Canterbury Street.  She explain that there was a deceased cat found in the gardens of the care home and that she needed help.  We attended as soon as we could and checked for a chip.  The cat was chipped and her name was Mimi.  Mimi had been reported missing yesterday on her microchip.  We picked her up gently and also picked her collar up then we cradled ber back to the car.  One phone number on the chip was ringing and the other was engaged,  so we decided to door knock.  As we arrived we explained who we were to the owner and what we feel had happened to her.  Other members of the family were in the process of putting up posters around the area.  The owners were very upset by the news but also greatful that they were given the chance to say goodbye to their beautiful girl.
