Getting Alfie Home

We received an inbox about a dog that was found roaming this evening near Chatham train station.  A lovely young lady called Charlee had secured the dog with her dogs lead and taken the dog to safety.  We attended and checked for a chip as soon as we could.  He was chipped and his name was Alfie.

We tried to call the phone number held on the chip with no luck,  so we placed Alfie in our vehicle and went door knocking.

When we arrived the door on the property was ajar,  so we knocked and were greeted by two police officers asking us who we were,  we provided our id and explained what we were doing at the property.  The officers went on to explain that the property had been burgled and that one of the dogs had escaped.

We took Alfie back indoors and managed to get him and the other dog secured in the livingroom so that the police could carry on with their jobs effectively.  Thankfully enough Alfie was chipped and his details were up to date so he could get back home quickly and safely.

Stay safe gorgeous boy xxxxx
