Getting Jessie Home

We received a message on Facebook yesterday about a cat that had been found on Wigmore Road acting very strange and lost.  The finder had taken the cat home and wanted us to check for a chip.

We attended and checked the cat for a chip,  she was chipped.  Unfortunately there were no owner details registered on the chip,  so we contacted the implanters to check their records to see if they could help us track the owners down.

After a lot of paper sifting the vets came up trumps and found that the cat was called Jessie and she had been missing for over 3 months and over 4 miles away from home.

We then contacted the finder who had been keeping Jessie safe to explain that her owner has been located and organised to collect her to return her home.

We picked Jessie up and thanked the finders for all of their help.
