Getting Savanah Home

We were alerted to a post on Facebook about a cat that was found deceased in Chatham tonight.  The cat was picked up and placed safely out of harms way.  So we asked where the cat was placed so we could attend and check for a chip.

We received details of where that cat was placed and headed to that address straight away.  It took a little searching but we finally found the cat.  We checked for a chip and she was chipped,  her name was Savanah.

We then pulled the details of the chip number on the database and called the first number,  which went straight to answerphone,  so we rang the second number.  The second number worked and someone answered.  We apologised for calling so late and explained why we were calling.

The keeper was really upset and wasn’t sure what to do as she had never been in this situation before,  so we sat and gave her some time to come to terms with the situation.

We wrapped Savanah up in a clean towel,  gave her a kiss and cuddle and started to take her back to her keeper.

Savanah was reunited within the hour.
