Getting Sooty Home

We were sent an inbox through our Facebook page about a cat that had been involved in an rta and didn’t survive the accident in Strood.  We attended as soon as we could.

We found the cat and checked him for a chip,  his name was Sooty.  A few people were out and knew who he belonged to and explained that the owners were away on holiday but their mother in law was caring for the cats in the household.  One man was going to bury Sooty in his garden, we explained that it may be best if the owners of Sooty were given the option of what they would like to be done with him. We tried calling the number held on the database with no answer,  so we sent a text message.  We then wrapped Sooty up and placed him out of harms way and away from the elements.

After some time we received a text reply and a phone call from the owner.  She arranged for her mother in law to come and meet us to take Sooty to the vets to be cremated or buried in their garden.
