We were sent an inbox this morning about a cat that had been involved in an RTA and didn’t make it at the top of Gillingham Road in Gillingham.
We managed to find the cat and checked him for a chip. He was chipped. His name on his microchip was Cat.
We called the phone number that was held on the microchip database and explained to the owner what had happened. However, because she had small children she didn’t want the cat being brought home in front of the children so we took Cat to her parents house.
We wrapped him up in a clean towel and gave Cat a kiss and a cuddle before handing him over to her parents. Her parents explained that even though on his chip he is called Cat, his nickname was also Dutch.
